Shadow woke up screaming and sweating. Everything was a dream. Shadows screaming woke sonic up.

sonic: what's wrong?

Sonic asked worried about shadow. Shadow started crying. Sonic immediatly hugged him. Shadow was was so scared, everything felt so real, the pain, fear. He hoped it was just a dream and that none of that was going to happen. Sonic tried to calm him down. Apperently his screaming and crying woke the others up and they went to check up on him. Cream was crying, rouge was worried and so were amy, knuckles and tails. The chaotix, who were staying over for a while ebcause they couldn't pay the rent, we're worried also.

sonic: shadow. what's wrong? a nightmare.
shadow: uh..uh-hu
sonic: everythings okay now. it's over . shhhh

Shadow hugged back tightly.

The next morning shadow got up still a little shaken up from last night's nightmare. He was gonna make sure not to get in that car anytime soon. Sonic hugged him asking him if he was alright. Shadow nodded and sat at the table. Sonic gave him his breakfast and started eating.

A few hours later they were once again in the city. Poeple's deathglares had died down and replaced by glances of guilt when they saw that shadow was pregnant and at the time couldn't do anything. When they arrived at the hospital. Sonic went over to ask if there was a doctor avaible for a check-up.

After waiting for a while a doctor walked up to them and called them over in the room. The doctor made the machine ready and shadow lied down on a sort of bed. Docter pulled up shadow's shirt up and rubbed some kind of sstuff on shadow's belly. After that the doctor used a machine (don't know tha tname of it) and laid it on his belly trying to find the baby.

doctor: there it is.
shadow: sonikku look!
sonic: aw man
doctor: you see? the toes, the hands?
sonic: what gender?
doctor: seems like you got yourselves a boy.
shadow: he's beautifull

By this time shadow had started crying. He was going to be a mother of a small baby hedgehog boy. Sonic smiled and stroked shadows quills. They were so glad and couldn't wait to get their baby boy in their arms.
